I don't really know what to put here. I like to read and write. I like crappy horror movies and obsessing over TV shows. I have a video blog that I never keep up with and I wish people would talk to me. That's about it.

F@%k My iPhone.
Alright everyone, listen up and let me tell you a thing.
A few days ago, my phone speakers stopped working. Just... stopped. I could get no sound to come out. I could still talk on the phone and the headphones still worked, but nothing would come out of the speaker.
I did what any strong, intelligent, modern woman does when this happens.
I told my Dad.
We looked it up and apparently, this had been a problem with the iPhone5. I let him play with it and we both respectively tried everything to try and get it to work again. Nothing. Nada.
Finally, he called Apple and told them the problem. They agreed to send a new one (since mine is still under warranty), they'll put a temporary charge on his credit card for the price of the new phone and I would send my defective one back. They would then take the charge off his card. Easy.
So now the game was to wait for the new one to arrive in the mail (which we learned was gonna be Monday).
Two days go by and I'm surviving with no sound. No big deal, just have to pay more attention for vibrating.
This evening, I'm sitting in my room watching TV, and I notice a something. I mute the TV and listen...
My phone alarm is going off.
WTF? TWO DAYS?! TWO DAYS!!!!!!!!!! And then it just fucking works again...
And now he's gonna get charged $650 for a new phone I don't need. Because if I return my phone fully functional, they'll just assume we wanted a new phone and charge him anyway.
Needless to say, we are not very happy right now.

*NEW VIDEO!* The Post Pre-Interview Test Video
SO!
Things have been interesting the past two weeks, what with all the interview nonsense. I don't think there will ever be a point in my life where I walk into an interview situation and actually feel like I'm going to get the job. Does that part ever get any better?
Someone asked me why I don't just get a little job first so that I at least have an income and just look for another job later. The answer to that is both simple and very complex. I don't want to rush into a job that I think is going to be temporary and would most likely drive me insane, because I know the type of person I am. I am the type of person who would STAY in that hell job, bored and frustrated for the rest of my life if given the choice because I would be safe. I fear and loathe the interview and resume proccess so much that I would just settle down with whatever pissy little occupation set itself in front of me and then end up hating myself more and more as time goes by (re: Wal-Mart for 5 years).
I pretty much know that nothing around here is going to make me happy (that would involve limitless amounts of cash, a personal trainer, and Tom Hiddleston on speed dial), but I at least want to find something that I can make a living off of and not want to go postal and stab all of my co-workers in the face (re: Wal-Mart for 5 years).
And so that brings me to all the running around I have been doing lately. Let me break it down for you:
Feb 1-2: On the coast with parents
Feb 3: Drive 2 1/2 hours to prison interview #1
~1 1/2 hours to Hattiesburg
(this is where the back pain began and I could not stand up)
Feb 7: Back to parents for chiropractor
Feb 9: Back to house
Feb 11: Up to Tara's for prison interview #2
Feb 13: 3 1/2 hours back to coast for chiropractor
Feb 17: 3 1/2 hours back to Tara's for office pre-interview test
And I have to head back to Hattiesburg tomorrow for the Hideout fundraiser.
Then back to the coast Friday for the chiropractor.
I am tired.

*NEW VIDEO!* Driving in Pain
Then we have the story about my back. That was also fun.
Now, we just have me trying to survive. Looking for a job (badly and without result, I might add), and spending a lot of time in the car, even though it hurts like hell.
The good part about this job interview is that I get to visit my friend Tara and maybe forget about things for a while... before I just have to get back in the car (which really does not feel good at this time) and go BACK down to the coast to see the chiropractor again.
Wow, these updates really suck.
I'll try to get back to doing 'Let's Talk About...' next week.

*Rant* Scam Calls
Yes, I'm totally going to believe you, person claiming to be from the Federal Government offering me free money. I'm especially convinced of your legitimacy because of your lack of English skills and what I'm sure were 'official business office' noises coming from your end of the call. I will definitely be handing over $280 so that you can send me my $7,500 of Federal grant money, which I'm sure will arrive promptly in my bank account within a reasonable amount of time. - November 15, 2013
He actually called back an hour later to see if I'd done it yet. By this time I was done and just told him I wasn't going to fall for it and to stop calling.
This time I only listened long enough for the woman, also with an even worse thick and almost imperceptible accent, to tell me I could only get the payment in the form of a Wal-Mart money card (which I know FOR A FACT cannot hold more than, like, $3000 at one time) before I hung up on her.
I would make a rant about "How can people think this will work?" or "Who is stupid enough to fall for that?" but the truth is, after five years in the Money Center of Hell-Mart, I've seen those stupid enough to fall for this shit. I wanted to strangle them for getting duped so easily. Like, seriously, you get an email from someone claiming that you've won the Guatemalan lottery of 250K FANTASTIC! BUT in order to get the money, you have to first send them $1,500 for processing....
Really?
I think one time I actually emailed them back and said something to the tune of: "Take it out of the 250K, then send me the rest."
Needless to say, I never heard from them again.
I wish these people who keep calling me would get that same idea.

'Pretty in Pink' Rant
This is a horrible movie. Not the acting or the quality of the film, just the concept. This girl, under unfortunate circumstances, is basically being stalked by three different people with three different intensities.
Duckie, the most blatant of those, follows her everywhere, watching her every move. He admittedly rides by her house several times a day to check on her obsessively, does not approve of her associating with anyone other than himself or others he feels are worthy, calls her constantly, talks to himself, and seems to just have no concept of reality. BUT, since he hides it behind being adorable and quirky, everyone watching the movie (myself included for a while) just melts at his seeming harmless misfortune and some go as far as to say he should have gotten the girl.
Steff, the "villain" of the movie is only obvious to the main character. He pursues her in private, mostly just for sex because he cares too much for his reputation to actually be SEEN with her in a social capacity. When rebuffed, he puts in motion plans to make her life more difficult in a classic "if-I-can't-have-you-no-on-can" effort.
BUT, Blane also fits into this category, if on a different level. His pursuit of Andy was also private. Hacking school computers to talk in private, and though he attempts to take her to one of the parties in his social class (which, from one perspective could be seen as just an act to gain her trust), after that, the relationship goes undercover, isolating Andy from her family and friends (except the aforementioned Duckie, who would have known because of his stalking anyway). He makes her feel special (seemingly because someone of his standing chose her despite her upbringing and financial situation) only to abandon her in favor of keeping appearances with his clique. We feel happy at the end of the movie because he runs after her, but what we really fail to think about is that he does this ALONE and away from all the other people at the prom (both rich and poor alike) and still has the ability and opportunity to continue to manipulate her in the future. But we like him as the hero of the movie because he is the lesser of two evils (or the quieter of three evils, if you will).
Now, it occurred to me while watching this movie tonight (for about the thousandth time) that I have dated both a "Duckie" and a "Steff." Neither of which were pleasant experiences. So, I feel at least 2/3rds qualified to make these statements. I know that some people may disagree with me or think I am reading too much into it, but they are entitled to their opinions just as I am entitled to mine. This in no way means that I do not love the movie, because I do and I always have and probably always will.
I need a life.
